2017 Bike to Work Day Pit Stop, May 19, 7:30am-9:00am
Celebrate the joy of pedaling to work and getting fresh air, exercise, reducing carbon emissions, and saving gas. Also using the ever-expanding bike lanes and designated routes for bikers throughout the metro area. The Crossroads Development Authority will host a pit-stop for riders at the new BikeShare station from 7:30-9:00am.

No experience necessary! Artist Peter Krsko will lead the painting of his community selected design, Symbiosis, in a series of 6 community painting sessions. Come 1 time or 6, but please join in!

Every fall, celebrate the annual Hindu festival of lights at the Takoma/Langley Diwali Festival! Enjoy Indian dance, live music, poetry, and culture presented by The Hindu Temple of Metropolitan Washington and Sri Siva Vishnu Temple. Diwali coincides with the Hindu New Year and celebrates new beginnings, the triumph of good over evil, and triumph of light over darkness. Delicious Indian food, clothing, jewelry, gifts, and housewares.
