Paint the Mural!  May 20th – June 6th

We need you! Join us as we expand our colorful mural network with a new mural at 1337 Holton Lane, Takoma Park in the Takoma/Langley Crossroads!

No experience necessary! Artist Peter Krsko will lead the painting of his community selected design, Symbiosis, in a series of 6 community painting sessions. Come 1 time or 6, but please join in!

Crossroads Farmers Market  – Weekly, Seasonal Market, May 31st-December 27th

Takoma/Langley CrossroadsJoin us for the weekly Crossroads Farmers Market during the months of June-December. The market is a lively meeting place to find weekly staples, specialty items, and ready-to-eat options.

Adopt-a-Highway Cleanup – Saturday, June 3, 2017

Join community residents in making Takoma Park’s main street “clean and green” by picking up litter and recyclables along the sides of New Hampshire Avenue.  Gloves, vests, bags and refreshments will be provided.  SSLs available to MCPS and PGCPS students.  Cleanup begins at 6900 NH Ave at 8:30am and ends at 10:00am.



Takoma Langley Diwali Festival  – October 15, 2017

Female youth dancers together Every fall, celebrate the annual Hindu festival of lights at the Takoma/Langley Diwali Festival! Enjoy Indian dance, live music, poetry, and culture presented by The Hindu Temple of Metropolitan Washington and Sri Siva Vishnu Temple. Diwali coincides with the Hindu New Year and celebrates new beginnings, the triumph of good over evil, and triumph of light over darkness.  Delicious Indian food, clothing, jewelry, gifts, and housewares.
